hello, new here and new to the third gens and some guys at nastyz28 sent me here for some tech help. I have an 87 tune port 305 iroc, car starts right up then after ten minutes it stalls and doesn't normally restart as it floods itself, I have replaced the coolant temp sensor, unplugged the cold start injector, installed new distributor and it still does the same thing, any ideas on what might be causing this? any help would be great, thanks in advance

 

Have you ohmed the injectors when it dies, watch the fuel pressure , pulled the plugs after it dies to look for fuel fouled plugs. Any codes thrown ?

 

as far as codes, I have yet to find anyone around here w a obd1 scan tool, but sometimes the service engine light comes on, other times is does not, plugs were gonna be my next step, but if I had a bad injector would that cause it to just die after ten minutes, it deff floods itself out if I try to restart
