High Oil pressure

Hey i have been noticing a bit high oil pressure. Cold start it goes right up to 60 psi and any acceleration brings it to 60-80 psi. After about a 10-15 min drive, or up to temperture(about 190), it goes back to normal 40-60 psi. This is a new engine it has about 4.4k miles on it. I haven't changed the oil on it yet but will once i get some money. could this be the problem or is it some valve?

Re: High Oil pressure

Probably ALOT worse.

The oil pressure sending unit probably has wore out. That's going to set you back about a cool $20 or so, and waste about 15 minutes of your life you won't be able to get back.
