Water Leaking underneath passenger side

I bought a 1992 v6 Camaro 4 days ago in near perfect condition w/only 77k miles. I drove it from Nevada to California the day I bought and have driven it to and from work the past three days w/no issues. I got home from work today and found water pooling underneath the passenger side. It does not feel or smell like coolant and I checked the passenger floorboards and they were bone dry so I am assuming its not the heater core (my last '92 had that issue). I don't have my car jack w/me so I can't get underneath to see exactly where its coming from. The transfer case looks a little wet from what I can tell which concerns me. Any ideas?

Yea its underneath the car. Maybe that's it. It just seemed like a lot of water to be condensation- like a few ounces. The transfer case looked damp too...

U can check right behind the engine there are two rubber hoses that go to the heater core that leak on the outside of the car while the collant system has pressure !

Re: Water Leaking underneath passenger side

There's also two metal pipes that run down the passenger side frame as well that routes the heater hoses out of sight as well. Those metal pipes rust and start to leak aswell

Re: Water Leaking underneath passenger side

Heater hoses would leak coolant, and 223 says its water.

Might look at door seals, esp. that triangular-shaped seal at the forward base of the window.

I seem to remember that it's called "door shield."
