qwik ? bout v6 to v8

qwik ? bout v6 to v8

Just realized only two motor mount holes match up the bottom hole is not there when I moved the mount forward. Do I have to drill the hole out? Or is 2 bolts enuff on both sides? 92 rs from 3.1 to 5.7 auto tranny

I could be mistaken , but , I thought even the parts that bolt to the frame are different from the 6 to the 8 cyl engine ? As in , you need the clamshells AND the frame mounted pieces from an 8 cyl and can't just slide the 6 cyl's frame mounted parts forward and bolt up to the 8 ?

Think I got it I need the chassis side of v8 motor mounts. They are bigger and wider and will make the fit to the needed holes https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/engi...swap-read.html. When placing the v6 chassis side against the v8 engine side on the motor it was way too small so the v8 he's got to be much bigger thx for the sticky
