performer rpm/rpm air gap/victor jr will they fit under stock hood?

Have 85 trans am, building vortec 350 for it, wondering just how tall of an intake I can get away with.

Thanks

How much taller is an air gap? Wondering if I went with 2 inch element, might fit

RPM will fit with a drop base air cleaner.

I fit a vortec RPM with a drop base just barely but that was with a 3/4" carb adapter in my camaro, not sure if the trans am has the same clearance or not. For the cam I have a hot cam with 1.6 rockers and the car wouldn't idle on its own any lower than 1k rpm. Would stall at lights and was a pain in the butt to come to a stop

I fit an RPM Air-Gap with an Edelbrock carb under a stock camaro hood. Air cleaner was a microscopic 1.5" x 6.5" non-drop base though.
