Making Noise/Wont Start

My 88 camaro 305 tbi isn't starting. It is making a weird noise from the timing belt. The belt isnt moving and it seems like its stuck and makes a loud noise if the moving mechanism was stuck. I need help with figuring out this issue. I have a video of what is going on but I can't post it since it is too big.

If the belt isn't moving the engine is not turning over on the starter so you need to figure out why before you do damage.
Start by pulling all the spark plugs out , then try turning
Disconnect the belt and try; maybe one of the accessories is locked up ?

The noise appears to be coming from the alternator. it makes a loud cranking sounds and the belt moves like 1/8th and returns back. I had changed the fuel injectors on the car and accidentally left a towel by the timing belt and turned on the car and it got stuck so I took out the towel and tried again and the noise started happening. Before I replaced the fuel injectors it wasn't making it. I know messed up with leaving the towel.
