Engine Electrical Question

I need some help. I have an "extra" wire/connector that I can't figure out needs to be reconnected.

1985 T/A with TPI and Auto trans:

I took the front end apart to replace the harmonic balancer. When I put it back together, I now have a connector that I can't for the life of me figure out the destination. The car runs fine and has since I put it back together. Except the A/C doesn't work, although the wiring is connected.

The wire is on the driver side, above the rocker cover and beside the TPI runners. I think it is brown/white, although I don't exactly recall. It has a white round connector. It is heading toward the A/C compressor & power steering pump, although it isn't long enough. It looks like it almost want to go under/to the throttle body.

I have reviewed the wiring diagram and can't seem to find that combo of wires or any function that isn't working.

I am baffled. Any help would be great.

TIA,

Ron

Re: Engine Electrical Question

Check the back of the AC compressor for a missing connector.

A picture of the connector would help quite a bit.
