Will a Autometer 4493 Speedometer Fit ?

My ol' man broke his speedo. Was wondering if this would bolt in there correctly. I found a good deal on one.

Are you asking will it drop right into the existing cluster and work? No.
What do you mean he "broke his speedo"? What year is the car, is it cable driven? Depending on what happened, you can get a whole cluster from the classifieds for that much.

Yeah, I was wondering if it would drop straight in, or how hard it would be to put it in. Honestly man, I don't really know what he did. I think he took it apart trying to change the bulbs in it. He broke something and tried using gorilla glue to fix it. He put too much on is what it looks like, and glued the needle down. Something like that anyway. lol I was talking to a guy that had that Autometer unit, brand new in the box for 75 bucks. I like that it goes to 160 too. The cars an '87.
