egr solenoid went bad

Car: 1985 pontiac firebird S/E
Engine: 5.0L 305 carb
Transmission: auto
egr solenoid went bad
im 100% my egr solenoid went bad and is causing my egr valve to to stay atleast partial open because iv been getting surging/eratic idle and iv already replaced the egr valve. iv looked around and it seems that nobody carries this part anymore. so could somone tell on what i could do. like a quick fix.

Check out this link. I found another EGR solenoid for my car at napa auto parts. I had the same problem.
