Cam ID question
Hi Everyone! I am being to get all my parts gathered and in order to do a V8 swap into my 1989 S10...
I have the beloved L03 305 engine out of a 1992 Camaro RS and I want to swap the peanut cam out.. (Im going with a carb not TBI)
On my shelf I have a roller cam out of my 1988 Chevy 350 Police interceptor 350. I'm guessing this engine wasn't very common as it had a Q-jet on top and it had a roller cam and lifters.. Long story short I built that engine up and swapped cams and I was wondering if anyone has the specs on this mystery roller cam. The heads on this 350 were the 083 heads if that is of any value.
Some people tell me its an L98 cam or one of its variants.. Any thoughts?
