When gasoline sits for too long, it will gradually become solid. If this is the case then most likely the fuel pump in the tank has seized and/or clogged fuel filter. How much fuel was in the car during the duration of not being used? New fuel pump and filter is a definite. Although, you might need to remove all remaining old fuel and flush out the fuel lines. It depends on how much the old gasoline dried up and solidified.

Not hardly any. The pump is building pressure in tank. I have heard that it needs at least half a tank to prime properly. I'm not sure how true that is though
