Something sounds too good to be true on those, especially aluminum ones for the same price.

Re: Would you run these roller rockers?

Offshore copy of Comp Cams stainless rockers at 1/3 the price. Probably have 1/4 the quality and reliability. They may look the same but if you took it apart and compared it to a real one, it would probably be obviously different. Considering the only place the part number pops up is on ebay, I'd say they're not a brand that sells in regular performance parts stores.

In a bone stock engine with stock springs, they might work just fine but even then, they could fail or wear out in a short period of time. Want to use them in any sort of built up engine and I'd say no. Since you're buying rockers like this for performance, spend the extra money for a known brand rocker with some reliability and quality. Even the brand name entry level rockers will probably be a better choice than those.

What? You don't trust the "Chairman's Choice" brand?

Re: Would you run these roller rockers?

C'mon... You guys are being a little harsh, aren't you? I'd think those rockers would be good up to at least 0.7000 RPM and should handle lifts of at least 0.00500" at the valve, even over the famed full-race (why go half-race?) Monkey Spank springs.

Would I run the aluminum version? You bet, without hesitation! I'd run them right down to the local recycler - Aluminum is going for over 60¢ a pound right now.
