idling too high and having trouble starting in the cold

My car has trouble starting in the cold or after sitting for some time. When the engine gets warm it idles too high. In park in idles at 1100-1300 RPM.

Anyone know what the problem might be?

thanks,

Roberto

Did you check pull/your IAC (Idle Air Control ) valve and TPS (Throttle Positioning Sensor) Settings? The IAC gets pretty carbon-ed up.
Do a search on here for the setting procedure for all this and folLow it to a T.

Your IAC is most likely sticking
