Water leak by injectors
Hope this isn't a duplicate topic. My engine 305 86 t a fi would die and stop lights. After turning the car off for a while it fixed it and hasn't happened again. But I did notice coolant sizzing sounds when it was off. Popped hood and saw coolant on driverside of the engine above the valve cover by the fuel injectors. Pretty sure it was coolant. Is this a big issue? I had the tires done at ricks today so maybe they left it running too long.
I assume the stalling was just a bad signal from the ecu. Not too worried about that. Just want to know if this is a common leak spot or an easy fix

Re: Water leak by injectors
Could possibly be intake gaskets or the thermostat housing gasket leaking if its going up on top of the intake.

Will take a look pretty sure it isn't the thermostat housing though. Are those intake gaskets simple to do or should I take it somewhere. Didn't know coolant was inside the intake there. Thanks for your reply

They aren't hard to replace, just a little time consuming. If your unsure about how to do it, just follow along with instructions from a service or Haynes manual. It isn't a hard job.

Many times the coolant weeps up the intake bolts, make sure when you change the gaskets, us a non hardening sealer on the threads.
