Engine: 350 tpi
Transmission: th700r4
Axle/Gears: BG 9 bolt
Changed distributor cap and rotor now Strange noise at load

Hey
I just change my distributor cap and rotor.
Before i had no problems or noise but now
At engine load the car makes a strange sound.
Its Like a knocking sound.
Any good advice whats happend ?
I Will check the Firing order later when i am
Home but will the car run with a mixed up
Firing order ?

Check that plug wires are at place(not lifted at dist. cap post)

Yes, 8 cyl will run easily with 2 wires mixed up.
