Opninon on 91 Z28 Value.
I went and looked a this Z28 today and can get it for 2200. It's a L98 G92 car. Still a drum rear. The auto tranny has been rebuilt and the paint is newer. It's a salvage title, but there is no major rust and the car seems straight.
Windows need adjusted, its missing a few peices, a/c and heat don't work. Any thoughts? Sorry if this is the wrong forum but didn't really see a what it's worth etc.

I'd say even though it's salvaged title what the po has put into it should be worth 2200. Doesn't look bad, BUT ask why it was salvaged ANd make sure you inspect the car thoroughly too see what you can find.

Salvage titles are a nightmare, unless the owner can reverse it. It usually involves ALOT of jumping through hoops and some out of pocket cash to have it reinspected. Like Rusty said, getting it registered with a salvage title is next to impossible. If you like the car buy it, but expect it to be a lawn ornament until you get the title fixed.

Late in 1991 GM ran short on disc brake rears. So some of the late 1991 cars got drum brakes instead of discs on the rear.

I picked mine up for $600 because it needed an alternator and the girl was mad at the ex boyfriend she bought it for
So I say save your money and spend a few months looking for a good deal and something will pop up. I would not get a car with a salvage title. Some of the best deals are in people back yards or fields and there not posted on line for sale. Look around where you live and ask around too.
