Best oil for new Steering Gear?
Hi,
I'm about to put a new steering gear (plus other steering parts) in the effort to reduce the steering play and increase the safety.
I gotta buy the oil. What is the best oil and where can I buy it (for Italy) ??
THANKS!!

I wouldn't over think this, any name brand synthetic power steering fluid will be fine. If you participate in AutoCross or Road racing you can add an actual power steering cooler quite inexpensively.

I don't think there is any reason to put any fancy fluid in the power steering. I have used straight dextron automatic transmission fluid in all my saginaw pumps for the last 30 years. I have never had one issue.
