Honestly though, that's about what I'd expect to pay for a clean, stock LG4 car. With the milieage, you can't really tell if its been rolled at 100K or not, so that's iffy.

I paid $4,800 for my 1988 Formula... in 1993 !

 

A 2791 miler 89 TTA just rolled through an hour ago and brought ONLY 34K.

Id been glad to give that for the car. Guess in a way im glad third gens are cheap that gives middle class folks like me access to them. I cant find it feasible to go buy a new Camaro or vette for almost what I gave for my house.

 

I hear ya D. Bought a 14' SS/RS Camaro last year for like "a lot". Kept it 4 months, 2260 miles on it and lost 14k. Went BACK to an Acura.

3rd Gens are the way to go now, just gotta be real patient and timing helps too!

 

U rite Bob. Patience pays off. I looked a solid 2yr before I found what I wanted and close enough to go look at and buy.And honestly I wanted a 5spd TPI car but.. Ima keep it because I found out the hard way on my last 3rd gen project you will not get what you have in one when you go to sell it.
