Sluggish acceleration- Solved

No error codes other than 33, which I've had for over a year now. Sometimes causes stall outs, but very rare. I just changed spark plugs out three days ago. I gassed up a hoyr ago and twenty minutes later after a red light it started running strange. It's a throttley sound and accelerating isn't easy. Suggestions or ideas?

Edit: two of the spark plug wires' connectors came out while changing and I used two old wires I had from before. Those wouldn't be issue would they? It's run great for 3 days

Edit: solved. Thanks

Re: Sluggish acceleration

Engine seems to shake quite a bit while accelerating also. Any help is appreciated. As always

Re: Sluggish acceleration

Sounds likes you have a dead misfire. Any of the wires rubbed through? Disconnected from the distributor cap posts? Disconnected from the spark plug? I've had them pop off due to the boot being a bit too long.

Edit: Just saw that you have a code 33. Yes this can cause all of the symptoms felt. Considering it's been this way for over a year, I'm leaning more towards the recent repair. The code 33 can be as simple as a cracked vacuum line from the MAP sensor to the manifold. This will cause a very rich condition and rough, lopey idle.

Re: Sluggish acceleration

Fixed. Double checked all the plugs and used a warranty at napa to get new plugs. Problem solved. Thanks.
