Firing Orders - SBC/LS1 0411 Swap
Hi Guys,
Was just double checking something and found a contradiction (or its just too late and not enough caffeine)
SBC Firing Order = 18436572
LS1 Firing Order = 18726543
But on repining the harness for the ls1 PCM for SBC operation, you switch 3to2, 2to3, 7to4, and 4to7
That would change the firing order to 18726543...
Never mind, that's correct, I'm going to get more coffee.

Yeah you just repin the harness ignition coils and inj signals at the pcm connector for sbc order. Else buy a custom cam with 4/7 2/3 swap

Look at the old firing order; 18436572.
Now exchange 2 & 3, and 4 & 7. Which is of course what re-pinning the connectors does: puts 2 where 3 was and vice-versa, and likewise 4 & 7.
You should come up with something close to 18725643.
What you posted is not correct.
More coffee!!!

...but cylinders 5 & 6 shouldn't be swapped?
Are you sure I need more coffee?
*Edit* I think we both needed LOL
I've edited the top post to fix it up.
6-5 stays the same, but I swap the 72 and forgot about the 43 at the end LOL

More coffee is ALWAYS a good thing. (well, almost always...)
Yes I fat-fingered it. 6 comes before 5 in both orders.
