92 Camaro RS V8 No Crank Problem
92 Camaro RS V8 No Crank Problem
New member here. I have looked through tons of forums to look for a solution to my problem and haven't found any yet so here is my problem. This car was my daily driver to work. It started having problems starting after awhile but then it finally just didn't start. I turn the key and there is no click and doesn't crank. I have replaced the starter, ignition switch, starter relay, and battery. The security light comes on when I try to start but turns off after a few seconds so I can say with 95% assurance that the VATS is not an issue. I still may be wrong. I have tested the neutral safety switch as well by connecting the Green and Purple wire together, no crank (put back to original wiring). I have also tested the starter relay by connecting the Yellow and Green wires together, no crank (put back to original wiring). I have voltage going to the starter. I ran a jumper cable from the starter to the positive of my battery and it cranked. The only thing I haven't been able to get to is the ignition lock cylinder because of the steering wheel column having a metal plate inside that I can't get off to get to the cylinder. Is this something I need to check/test for a possible problem? Is there something else that I am not thinking of to check?

Do you have interior lights when you open your doors and dash lights?
