Just a little Info On the zz430 motor

There has been a lot of talk about the fastburn heads and the Hot cam. I have a zz430 in a 89 camaro with a t56 and 4.10 gears. Yesterday I decided to test the mileage. 97 miles with 5.1 gallons of gas. Works out to be just under 20 mpg. Part of this was freeway and the other half was through the hills on a windy road with 35 mph curves.
Oh one last thing, a holley 750 VS is currently feeding the motor.
With fuel injection You could probably get better than 20mpg.
Im not saying any of this to brag. If anybody is toying with the Idea of building a zz430, dont shy away from it because of mileage. ( I almost did)
