Transmission: 700R4

Something with my fan

My Camaro will start up normally and run fine until I cut on my fan. I had to hard wire it with a relay. But when I turn it on it gets all choppy and the engine sounds like it's about to cut off.

Are you tied into an ignition wire?

I've tied the ignition box into a "switched" ignition source that ended up being a turn signal. When the turn signal was turned on, it did the same exact thing.
