As the title says, looking for pics of how you all routed spark plugs with aftermarket headers with AIR tube provisions. I'm not sure if I want to try and go over the valve covers or under the headers yet. EDIT: Maybe this would have been better in auto detailing and appearance, but eh, close enough.

Kinda depends on the particular headers, and what spaces they give you; but, I put mine underneath in the stock looms. (stock config wires with the mix of 90° & straight boots, Edelbrock TES at the time)

Re: Pic request: Spark plug wire routing with AIR tube headers.

I went over the VC's with the SLP headers I have.

I made four, two-wire looms and screwed them into the holes in the cylinder head that are located between the outer and inner exhaust ports (did the same on the passenger side). I pop-riveted the wire looms to 90-degree angle brackets from the hardware store and fastened them to the cylinder heads with 1/4" bolts (IIRC they're 1/4"....might have been #10 machine screws ).

(I know...#1 and #3 wires are a bit long. I'd trim them back but I ran out of terminals)

It makes for a clean install; just the home made looms and loose wire separators.

This install may not work if your headers have one piece flanges.

Frankly, I think running the plug wires under the headers/manifolds still looks the best. But to do it the right way, you have to run wires 1-3 and 2-4 between the block and engine mounts.
