'90 RS 3.1 won't start

Need help figuring out why our 1990 camaro wont start, we changed the fuel pump & fuel filter, timing chain, new battery. It is trying to turn over, it has fuel pressure and spark. Any one got any ideas?

If the stock ECM Multec injectors are still in the engine, that is why it won't start. Squirt a little fuel or starting fluid into the TB and see if it then starts.

It's tune port, tried starter fluid. Still not starting. we did find a lot of carbon build up tho? Not sure if that has anything to do with it not starting tho?

It is MPFI, the TPI systems are on the 8 cylinder 3rd gen cars.

Did the engine run before the above was changed? With swapping out the timing chain a compression test would be helpful. It would show whether the crank/cam alignment is correct.
