82 Berlinetta Cranks but wont start/dies
Hello, I have been a long time lurker on here and have been searching these forums for a solution to my problem and couldn't find anything good enough yet. (MANY MANY other problems have been solved through looking on these forums though!)
Recently I changed my spark plugs and everything was running fine/normal,
then maybe 30 minutes of driving that day, it died at a stop light, started up just fine and finished the last 5 minute drive to work. Then after maybe 2 hours i drive next door to the advanced auto with no problem starting/driving but when I go to leave, it simply will not start.
I walk back to work and after about an hour I go and It starts again, drive home and it dies in the middle of the busiest intersection, first time its been towed.
Also forgot to say, when it brakes down in the middle of driving it is overheated, ive been having to top off the coolant probably every other week, but when i checked the coolant after it died it was bubbling and the overflow was pretty much full compared to the just over the fill line
Now I cleaned the carb and checked and made sure all the spark plugs are wired in. It will start and drive for a while but once it dies, it has alot of trouble starting, you need to crank for a longer time than what feels right and it slowly starts to catch and you need to slowly press the gas, but not too much or it stops starting.
Any advice is greatly appreciated, I just cannot figure it out. Sorry for the long post, ask any questions you need.

I'm thinking vac line issue. Make sure to chech any and all vac line connections around where you were working. I had that problem one time on my 91 FB and it ended up being a disconnected vac line I had undone by accident while changing my plug wires..

Changed the fuel filter when I bought it maybe 5 months ago, do they usually go bad that fast? Car sat for a couple years and had to push it home but started and aside for a few small fixes carb cleaner brought it to life

Also I remember hitting my carb and the idle screw(?) Adjusted a little and it was resting against a little switch I think I remember before this, and now it's not resting on the switch anymore

Update
Before the last time it broke down it slowly started making a loud noise and wouldnt go above 25mph, after attempts to start it after it died then also resulted in loud uncomfortable noises.
