Alternator Relocation with AC and AIR delete?

I am only running an alternator and PS pump. My compressor is in place but I've pulled out most of the AC hardware, and will be swapping in a non-AC heater box and pulling the condensor. Previous owner pulled the AIR system and the pump.

Anyone running a kit similar to this? Just looking to move the alternator over where the AIR pump was to clean up the top of the engine a bit. Will this work on an 89 305 TPI motor (obviously with a custom belt...)??

Photo and link attached.

Thanks.

It will work but you will need to change out the water pump for a standard rotation. You can then use V-belt pulleys or swap out the V-belt pulleys for March multi-groove belt pulleys. I prefer multi-groove belts because they are less prone to flying off at higher rpm or slippage.

Aah. My 89 has a serp belt. I thought I could use a short serpentine belt, and routing the belt under the water pump between the alt and PS pump would get me the proper rotation, or will that not work? If it's not that easy maybe I'll hold off for now.

To be clear, the kit is just the relocation brackets, no pulleys included.
