Looking at buying this top end kit from summit.

Will it work well with my HSR? I have a goodwrench 350 4 bolt main motor. I'm really interested in the whole kit because its all matched to work well together.

 

That will depend on your tuning skillz. Those will DEFINITELY be called upon. At least it'll all bolt up; but as far as, will you be happy with it? is it the best possible path? is it "matched" to EFI? those are questions of a whole other kind, that I can't answer.

 

Plan on bigger injectors (if yours are currently stock), higher ouptput fuel pump (again, if yours is currently stock).

Sofakingdom is correct... plan on some major re-tuning as well. If you plan to do that yourself, do a lot of reading ahead of time and plan on getting a WB O2 sensor.

 

Ok Ill add some more details about what I have already. holley 58mm TB Commander 950 ecm with an innovate WB already. Oh and 24lb injectors. I have a newer pump but its nothing special. also I have 700r4 and 3k convertor to go in. I am not that educated with tuning. Ive messed around with the 950 a bit but dont fully understand it all. The big question is the cam to much for EFI? will it run with a base tune? Is the kit worth it?

I'm not a super educated engine builder so I figured a kit like this puts a matched set of performance together for you.

There are a few good tuning shops around I can get it protuned. Which I might if its that ruff.
