Weird Buzzing
I have a 87 chevy camero and am having an issue that when the battery is connected there is a weird buzzing noise coming from the antenna. It only happens when the battery connected even if the engine is off. Any ideas?

Re: Weird Buzzing
If its a power antenna, you will have to disconnect the power to it by removing the panel above the passengers knee. It will have 3 wires..green, white, and grey. That will stop the motor from turning. You must have a broken cable in the mast.

Re: Weird Buzzing
Sounds about right, we just bought the car a couple days ago for a project and realized when we connected the battery it was making the buzzing noise. Can you let me know the specific steps to stop it that way nothing else is ruined?

Panel to the right in front of the door , just take out the hold down screw and slip it out and unplug the wires.
