Losing coolant and just replaced heating core

I just replaced the heating core on my 2008 Impala and had to add coolant a week later. Then my transmission went out and had to add coolant again. My floorboard isn't wet and there are no puddles under my car. My oil looks clean and I don't see anything coming/running from the pump. My car isn't overheating either. Where the hell is my coolant going?!

First things first , this is a website dedicated exclusively to 1982 through 1992 Chevy Camaro / Pontiac Firebird cars only , hence the name "Third Gen . Org" (those 10 years are the third generation of the GM "F Body" car)

As such , your post and question are off topic for this site and may well get locked or deleted .

Now , since you asked nice (Loved the "Where the Hell is my coolant going ?!") I'll tell you this ;

If you see no coolant hitting the ground to make a leak easy to spot , the proper diagnosis will come from a "cooling system pressure check" .

Best of luck with your findings ....

Re: Losing coolant and just replaced heating core

It could also just be the coolant system burping some air. Keep an eye on your temp gauge and drive it for a few days checking the coolant overflow bottle before you start each morning.

..... And the worst case scenario is that you have a blown head gasket.
That would mean that your coolant is leaking into a cylinder and is being burned in the engine.
I'm not saying this is your problem, just a possibility.
As said above, have a pressure test done. Good luck.
