Re: Headlights not working.

Replaced headlight switch on my 92 and still not getting power to my headlights. Tail lights, turn signals, brake lights, emergency lights, dash lights all work except headlights. Never encountered this problem before. Has anyone ever had this happen? What was at fault help..

Also on my 88 I have a weird problem with headlights. Low beams on and only driver side turns on.... If I turn on the High beams, all four light up good. Turn off high beams and only driver side goes on. What's the deally? I don't know were to start looking.

Check out the links below,

Those should help you trace back the electrical issues your describing. On my 92, when all headlights quit working one day I found it to be the Hi/Lo Beam Switch mounted to the steering column under the dash.

It was the low beam high beam switch. Thanks.

Re: Headlights not working.

That would be the dimmer switch right ? This happened to me last night, so are you guys testing it before you take it off ? Any good instructions on taking it off... I know its a very tight fit under there.
