What is this electrical connector?
My dad has early onset dementia and was mucking around with my car while it was stored ( you can see the cut air injection tubes). Anyway, does anyone know where this connector on top of the ac unit goes, or is it just extra in the harness for a car with different options?
Thanks for any help. Ryan

it's for the A/C clutch-you can see where it plugs on right behind the pulley.

I've already got a little round connector plugged into the unit. I'll have to head out and take a better look. Thanks.

The little round connector goes in the back of the compressor. The one you're asking about goes in front, right behind the clutch (the part the belt goes around). You can see the blades: right in front of the dividing line of the label, where it has the silver part and the yellow part, not 2" from where the connector is hanging..
No it doesn't matter which way the connector goes onto the pins.
