90 Camaro spark plug questions

Hi,is champion 3025 the correct spark plug for a 90 Camaro 305 v8 with tbi? I’ve been checking online and one auto parts store claims it fits my car, another website says it doesn’t?
the also show autolite ap26 but I wanted to go with the Champions since they are made in the USA.

Re: 90 Camaro spark plug questions

I'm not a fan of Champion, but that's not to say you shouldn't use 'em. That being said, the stock replacement AC Delcos are all I've ever run in various traditional small blocks, and never had a single issue. Lots of people will tell you the same. I think that's R45TS, but you can double check at the parts store. When I built my current motor my aftermarket heads and aftermarket headers didn't like the length of the AC Delcos, so I had to go with Autolite. Otherwise, I'd be running AC Delco.

Re: 90 Camaro spark plug questions

Platinum plugs are not recommended. Go with a straight copper core plug such as Abubaca posted, the AC Delco R45TS. Or an Autolite #26.

The Champion equivalent should be their #19 plug.

RBob.
