Difference in pontic and SBC 5.7

What is the major difference between the pontic and chevy 5.7 TPI engines? What parts don't switch?

Ok, firstly... The 5.7 engines used in thirdgens are all Chevy engines. Theres no difference between those.

If you are talking about an actual Pontiac engine and Chevy engine, I suspect the valve spring retainers and locks are the same. The lifters might interchange, not positive. Other than that, nothing else is the same.
