Good day all, Ok how is it that this cover is so mysterious? I can not find it anywhere? What gives? How the heck do I get this thing safetied with out it?

Oh yeah - you can't get those anymore. I have a stash of some new old stock ACDelco units with the updated intermittent plastic cam - the early ones break off and GM redesigned the part after the fact but they never went into production cars and are now also discontinued. I would sell one for $250.
