Hello all, so I have an intermittent problem. When I am down around 1/4 of a tank and sit in traffic for a bit the engine will start to stumble and then when I give it gas it acts like it’s out of gas. It will spit sputter and back fir a little. If I can limp it off the road then I can let it sit for a minute and then push it a bit and it will crank and run fine for a while until I sit still again for a bit. I noticed when I opened the gas cap it had pulled a heck of a suction and the filler neck seemed like it was hot down in the tank. This is a 350 gta with tpi. 1988. The only other thing I noticed was that the last time it was idling and started to do it I heard a wine from the back of the car while sitting still. This car sat up for several years and I am wondering if I have trash in the tank that may be blocking up the fuel pick up making the pump struggle at low fuel.

Any my ideas would be greatly appreciated
