head gasket
I am putting vette heads on my 305.
should I buy 350 or 305 head gaskets?

Hold one of the old 305 gaskets up to the new head, lining up the bolt holes exactly. If the gasket protrudes into the combustion chamber at all at any point go with the 350 gaskets.
