I lost my ****** Engine and wish to use the Silverado 1500 4.3 v-6. Which is best route, purchase a wiring harness for computer or install an elenbrock or other manifold and a carb ? Any experience along these lines ?

 

I suggest asking on a truck forum. This one is dedicated exclusively to 92-92 Camaro & Firebird; it is not a general Q&A forum. We could maybe help you with a 82-92 Camaro/Firebird engine (TPI motors used to be popular for street rod type swaps) but not with a totally unrelated batch of random stuff.

 

Its amazing, I ask about engines as the topic suggested and get crap reply.

Now , since the 4.3 was never offered in GM third gen F body cars , and since your ****** heap ain't a GM third gen F body either , do you understand why your discussion is unwelcome here ?
