Just wondered how many V6 owners there are on this forum. Don't chime in one at a time for god's sake(!), but if anyone knows a number...

Come on, this is the V6 board... That's like asking how many dead people are in a cemetery...
Almost 3100 hybrid is in the garage and will be finished if I ever get the right main bearings or a full crank kit
. Rest of the car is split between the driveway and the garage.

1 running v6 turbo car (3.1 60-1 turbo)
2 v8 (1 sbc 400 with t6 76mm turbo the other is a 305 v8 thats about to be swaped out for a 3.0 v6 turbo)

Forgot to add that there is a number of people who have and drive V6 cars but don't log on here very much any more and/or pop in and out occasionally. So any number you may get is likely to be a bit off.

I love my V6, surprisingly! Didn't think it would be enough power for me, after my Iroc. But I love it! When guys pull up and try to race me I just smile and try to be cool. I would like to race another V6 though.. I think mine runs amazing!~ So if any of you find yourself in Az, lets race!

when gas gets $4 per gallon or so, why hate the V6? Mine have got me through those tough times. The 30 mpg helps my commute. sure I have the V8 vette for the weekends, but the V6 camaro lets you commute in style!

. Took me 5 years (and I can't tell you how much money because I don't know how much the engine swap cost, but the trans swap was $1200), but I got my V6 from about 5 MPG to over 30. I really hate driving the Dodge that gets 22 MPG if I'm lucky 
, but the end result will be worth the hassle, I hope.

My daily is a 95 f150 with a 4 inch lift kit, I get 13-14 when I baby it and have good tail winds... I need to get my camaro on the road in a bad way..

I still have mine. Been sitting under a car cover for awhile. Only recently been daily driving it (since I have to pull apart my trucks rear end again). Grr!

I have one! I think mine may be one of the best looking v6's around these days... ive put RS bodywork on it, but i didn't put any IROC badges or anything... proud to rep the 2.8L V6! its a 1984 btw...

I own a White 1987 Iroc-Z 305 TPI, and a Green Grey 1992 RS 3.1L MPFI. The RS runs, and drives but I didn't get a title for it so I can't register it for the road yet.
The Iroc-Z will be my daily driver next month as that ones ready to go. Once that's done, I'll be working on getting a title for it, but it's gonna cost me.

I have a 88 fire bird with the 2.8l and about 250,000 miles on it. I love my little v6. I'm having problems with it running but I'm trying to fix it. For a v6 my firebird will out run my dad 4.3l in his gmc sonoma witch I'm driveing untell I get my car fixed
