No voltage at cold start switch

Car: 88 camaro iroc
Engine: 5.0 TPI
Transmission: 5 spd mannual T5
Axle/Gears: 3.27/ 9 Bolt
No voltage at cold start switch
Recently my 88 tpi iroc has been having rough idle when cold or first start up in the day, it fires right up after that without the rough idle through out the day. I did some research and one of the possibilities could be a bad cold start valve. The first thing I checked was voltage at cold start valve (purple wire) when turning on the car and there is no voltage. I checked for voltage at the cold start switch also no voltage. (I checked them in the morning when engine is cold). So, does anyone know where these two parts get voltage from?

The timer switch gets power from the starter in crank .
you might check your starter connectors. You can always upgrade to 89 $6e mask and get rid of the ninth injector.
