Re: cold start injector help

Cold Start is not ECM controlled. Should be able to figure out why it's not working with a voltmeter in about 5 minutes.

A bad ground from CSS to intake,.... a bad CSS,.... or lack of power will cause no Cold Start operation.

Check the purple/white wire @ the Cold Start injector when a 'helper' starts the car. If there's no battery voltage: Check the CRANK fuse. The voltage gets sent from there during start-up to the Cold Start Switch on the front (coolant port) of the intake manifold & the Cold Start Injector using the same circuit. ( The CRANK fuse GETS it's power - only while the key is turned to START - from the PURPLE wire @ NSS for Automatic,.... or the Clutch Start Safety Switch in a stick. )

The Cold Start Switch should only provide ground to activate Cold Start Injector ( ground = Tan wire ) if the engine temps are cold.
