89 v6 Fuel issue

Hey all, first time camaro owner.
Kind off picked this up on impulse for $800 Canadian.
last inspected in 2007, it has been sitting in various yards for the last 13 years and the underneath shows it (floors need to be done completely)

Now the reason it doesnt run, as I was told by the owner, was that it needs a new fuel pump. it does fire up with some fuel sprayed in the intake
We tested the wires in the engine bay, checked the fuse and everything looked good on that end, but we were not getting fuel and could not hear the fuel pump start.

i took the fuel tank out and tested the fuel pump directly on battery, and it worked, i haven't tested the wires that go behind the backseat yet, this will be my next test.
just curious if there is any other reasons why it would not be working when its all put together?

also wondering in its current state, with floors needing to be completely removed and replaced, as well as brake lines, fuel lines and exhaust, if it is worth putting time and money in this or if it would be better to part it out. hoping to get more money out of it then i'll be putting in lol
*edit, some extra info* 117k km, all original, has papers, glass t tops, overal solid except for the floors.
from what i can tell so far it needs: new floors, fuel tank (it leaks), fuel and brake lines, windshield, top dash is cracked, radiator support replaced, rear wheel wells redone.
thanks in advance

Deja Vu... Read this thread, subtract any positive comments since it's a rough Camaro with a 2.8 that doesn't run. Sounds like you have a basket case on your hands. A healthy bank account and patience can go a long way, but the resale value is several hundred less than you paid. Use your best judgement.

A) Cut your losses and part it
B) Fix the minimum to make it drive and try to flip it while driving it for recreation.
C) Swap some other drivetrain into it. For recreation.
D) "Cry 'Havoc!,' and let slip the dogs of war!"

This is basically where im at.
A running and driving one in "needs work" shape goes for around 1500 to 2000$ in my area, so i want to make it run and drive, and go from there, maybe ill like driving it and want to spend se extra into it, or i will be happy to sell it.

my province likes their salt on the road, a vehicle needing floor work or floors replaced is pretty common around here lol
