I have not been on site for over a year and if this swap has been done and detailed, (I just did not find it when looking).
Hears what I have been considering (locked-up and bored with the Covid-19) is to replace my old 305 iron block 195HP (Auto) with a 327 Aluminium 300HP, sound good so far?
Problem has been engine light on most of the time (MAF) since new, have replaced/done everything to fix it. Only upgrades done; complete Edelbrock exhaust complete system (headers, cat and back)
My thoughts have turned to replacing it with this lighter stock LH8 engine.
Has anyone thought or done this swap and if so what would be required as there are more O2 sensors and other "crap" on this later engine?
Any input as to the problems, effort and cost to do this swap?
