Motor and trans mounts - Energy or Prothane?
Motor and trans mounts - Energy or Prothane?
Looking to finally swap my motor mounts, trans mount, and torque arm bushing. What brand poly do you guys recommend for a '85 Trans Am with a mildly built 350 and 700r4 trans AND any tips on swapping the motor mounts with the engine still in?

They are identical. I've used both and there's no difference besides color.

Pictures of the Energy motor mounts show the metal arms are angled where as the Prothane are vertical like the stock rubber ones. I've also heard the Energy trans mount is taller than the Prothane.

I didn't have any clearance issues with either one. And didn't notice the difference on the angle either. They both function the same as far as I can tell.
