Does anyone know of a reputable cluster repair business or person that could help me out?
Neither work right now but all other gauges work fine. Does the vss only control the speedometer?

 

The VSS feeds a signal to the speedometer, and as a result drives the odometer. The VSS also signals the ECM to allow control of torque converter lockup, and signals the cruise control as a road speed reference. Before pulling the speedo for repair it would be a good idea to verify the presence of a signal from the VSS all the way to the speedo head.
