Rear Axle U bolt broken, replacement part#???

Did a quick search and did not have much luck on where to find replacement U bolts for the sway bar bracket, I broke a bolt when replacing the seat bar for paint and new greasable bushingS. It does not look like an exhaust style clamp will work.

Discontinued by GM. I guess your best bet to find a used one through this forum in the "wanted" section.

Some 4x4 shops can make them. I used muffler clamp U bolts for my 9" rearend. been in there for 20 yrs or so.

I’m going to try my local dealer to see if they have anything that will work, then try O’reillys and see if they have a clamp that will.

Any company that sells U-bolts should have some in the size you need. They're just U-bolts...

I got some for exhaust pipe they were a little tight but they worked

Thanks for the replies, O’Reillys had a 2.5 inch exhaust clamp that worked perfect. I am cleaning up/painting the base that came from the factory to reuse with the new U bolt.

You could take a piece of allthread and just bend it around the axle tube.
