Help w/ Pass. Side Valve Cover Gasket

'92 Z28 w/ 305 TPI. I've got everything removed on the passenger side but the A.I.R tubes on the exhaust manifold. I can get the valve cover part way up but it's getting hung up on the wire loom along the top and the A.I.R. tubes on the bottom. Any tips to get it off without removing he A.I.R tubes? If not, how do I remove them without taking off the manifold? I tried a flare nut wrench & crow foot wrench but can't get a good angle on the middle 2 bolts.

The valve cover should come off without removing the exhaust manifold or the air tubes. Hard to tell from your photo, but it looks like the air tubes might be bent toward the valve cover.

Yeah they look kinda smashed down.

Go to your favorite corner parts store and pick up a 9/16" tubing wrench, and take them off. Either the kind that goes on a ratchet or the kind that looks like an open-end wrench. Looks like the open-end wrench style would be easier to use on that, but you can make that decision when you see them.

Thanks for the tips everyone. I finally found just the right angle to pull it up and out.

Getting it back on will be a challenge, I broke my AIR tubes trying to get the SOB off. I put on new with it off and still had a time getting the valve cover baffle to clear over the rockers.

Step away and take a breath as it's a time

I was able to get it back in by bending the coil bracket enough to get the rear corner of the valve cover under the big wire loom, then bend the bracket back to its original spot once I was done. All AIR tubes, vacuum lines, and wires re-connected with no damage and working as original!
