Depends what side it is on. I have an 85 TPI. For the driver's side, I just removed the PCV valve from the cover, and the AIR tubes that run but it..not the ones in the manifold, the ones above it. Then, removed the four nuts holding the cover down, and pryed it off.
Passenger side was a little different. I had to remove heater hose lines, passenger PCV lines, and the AIR tubes to get to it. Then, to get it back on, I had to bend AIR tubes that ran to the cat, remove the alternator, slide it in..man that side was a little tough.
Of course, if you have centerbolt valve covers, I guess everything would be the same except when you go to remove it, you have 4 bolts on top of the valve cover in the center holding it down. Remove those then pull off the cover.
Hope I helped

you have a 91.
everything moves out of the way... its a bit of a pain to wiggle it out from under the coolent lines and such, but nothing else to undo..

IIRC, the installation for the Fel-Pros state not to use sealant.
On mine for the driver's side:
I moved:
the alternator
fuel rails (SLIGHTLY, removing the bolt allows you to move them very little, but they only hang over the lip of the cover by a fraction of an inch anyway)
Remove:
PCV
the clamp that holds the wire harness to the intake manifold.
Doing these, I didn't have to wiggle the cover out. Just removed the cover bolts and lifted it off.
For pass side, its the same basically as what IROC described, minus the AIR tubes. They don't interefere on a TPI at least.
