Oil pressure switch/sender

I'm trying to replace a damaged oil pressure sender unit and I wanted to know if it matters if the fact that I have a 383 stroked engine would mean I can't buy the regular oem unit? I do not see any markings on the damaged unit. I know I used a 1 1/16 socket to remove it. I guess what I'm asking is if the increased oil pressure would matter for this switch? I hope I made sense.

Yes you can use the regular OEM replacement. If your oil pressure is higher than stock it will just make the gauge go up farther.
