No response from the gas pedal?

I have a 1990 v6 camaro, i go to start and it roughly idles for maybe 5 seconds and then after shuts off. I then try to start and give it some gass but it doesnt even rev up when i give it gas there is no response, ive checked the throttle cable and its intact and working, i have no clue on what it could be
I did check the Fuel pressure a while back and it was fine, idk if thay would cause it, the fuel pump does prime when ever i turn the key, so i assuming not that?,

Re: No response from the gas pedal?

In a general way, that's usually a fuel problem.

Might want to check the fuel pressure again.
